The Porsche 944 is a sports car manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Porsche from 1982 to 1991. A front-engine, rear-wheel drive mid-level model based on the 924 platform, the 944 was available in coupé or cabriolet body styles, with either naturally aspirated or turbocharged engines. The LS based small-block engine is the primary V-8 used in General Motors’ line of rear-wheel-drive cars and trucks. Introduced in January 1995, it is a “clean sheet” design with only rod bearings, lifters, and bore spacing in common with the longstanding Chevrolet small block V8 that preceded it as the basis for GM small-block V8s. The basic LS variations use cast iron blocks, while performance editions are all aluminum with cast iron cylinder liners. The LS small-block has been manufactured in three Generations – III, IV, and V – with preceding Generations I and II of modular GM small-block engines having been based on the Chevrolet small-block V8 originally designed in 1955. GM recycled the “LT” designation beginning with the LS Generation V “LT1” in 2014. (Description courtesy of Wikipedia)

A very unnecessary and pointless video about draining the gas tank on a Porsche 944. Instead of making a mess trying to pull the fuel line off the tank, just hookup power to your fuel pump, and pump the gas out into a can at the front of the car. Easy, right? Please stay tuned for more videos!

While filming a new video showing how to replace the power steering pump in a Gen2 Honda CR-V, i made a very amateur mistake, and paid dearly for it… 😭 Laugh at me all you want, at least i learned a good lesson! 🤓
The second generation CR-V was a full redesign, based on the seventh generation Civic, and powered by the K24A1 engine. North American versions of the new engine produced 160 hp (119 kW) and 162 lbf⋅ft (219 N⋅m) of torque. The new CR-V retained the fuel economy of the previous model because of the i-VTEC system. The new chassis had increased torsional and bending rigidity, the suspension included front toe control link MacPherson struts and a rear reactive-link double wishbone; the compact rear suspension increased cargo space to 72 cu ft. The second generation CR-V was Car and Driver magazine’s Best Small SUV for 2002 and 2003. (Description courtesy of Wikipedia)
This video covers the process we used to design the new radiator, oil cooler and fan mounting bracket. Starting with taking measurements by hand, we wrote down all the critical dimensions of the components and vehicle mounting points. We then drew everything in 3D CAD, and created a radiator support bracket based on the measurement data. Next, we generated a flat pattern, made some adjustments, created a CAM simulation, and then exported G-Code to our CNC plasma cutter. We were very happy with the results, but there is still a lot of work ahead. Please stay tuned!
