iJDMtoy: Scion FR-S 4th Brake Light Install Guide

This is, by far, the most ghetto install I have done so far. But you know what? It works. And that is good enough for me!

This page features the 3rd (or 4th) brilliant red LED Brake Light (Rear Fog Lamp) Conversion Kit. It is the perfect way to add safety and style to your vehicle while utilizing the factory location. This conversion kit will be perfect for cars such as the 2013+ Scion FR-S, 2013+ Subaru BRZ, 2009+ Nissan 370z, and many more that have a bulb-less reflector lens on the rear bumper. All the important components are provided for an easy installation. Modifications like drilling and tapping wires are required so professional installation is highly recommended.

How NOT To Test For Boost Leak

I finally fixed the vacuum leak, but I still have some serious boost lag. Chances are, there is a leak somewhere in my intake. So, I need to pressure-test it for leaks. During the testing, I could hear a “bubbling” noise, so I think my oil seal may be leaking pressurized air into the oil return line. I’m not sure. Give it a listen and tell me what you think.
