How NOT To Repair A Cross Threaded Wheel Stud (Lug Nut)

There is a right way to do things, which generally involves a lot of time and effort. However, say you are in the middle of changing your tires at the race track, and BAM!, your aluminum lug nuts cross thread, or worse, your wheel studs cross thread… Well, if you’re like me, and have no patience or sense of giving-a-shit, then this repair method is exactly what you need.

P.S. I am never using aluminum lug nuts again. From now on, i will only be using forged steel lug nuts. Join me!

Porsche 944 – Rebuild That Transaxle! – Part 3

In the automotive field, a transaxle is a major mechanical component that combines the functionality of the transmission, the differential, and associated components of the driven axle into one integrated assembly. Front-engine, rear-wheel drive vehicles tend to have the transmission up front just after the engine, but sometimes a front engine drives a rear-mounted transaxle. This is generally done for reasons of weight distribution, and is therefore common on sports cars. Another advantage is that as the driveshaft spins at engine speed, it only has to endure the torque of the engine, instead of that torque multiplied by the 1st gear ratio.

This video shows you how to remove the inner fender liner, and repair a dent on a polyurethane bumper. And then ghetto-stitch it all back together with zipties, hopes & dreams.
