How To Resurface A Flywheel And Pressure Plate

How to quickly break the glaze on a flywheel and pressure plate.

Note: This method only works if the clutch surface is not damaged. Having a local shop resurface your flywheel is always the best option, however, having to buy a new pressure plate is extremely expensive, and sometimes unnecessary. This method uses a very soft bristle disk to de-glaze the flywheel and pressure plate surfaces, and give your clutch a chance to live again.
